What is Saggu Biyyam?

Saggu biyyam in English is called as Sago, in Hindi it is called as Sabudana. However, it is not a natural dana, it is made from a kind of root to look like white pearly dana. Sago is a starch taken from the center of sago palm stems. It looks, feels and tastes like tapioca but still it is not from the same plant.
